6 Station Shoot

Water Droplet Photography

To create a water droplet picture you will need to have a good DSLR camera, a tripod and a micro lens. You will also need a system for the water to slowly drop allowing you to create the droplet. Using a medicine dropper attached to some sort of tripod will allow you to get the droplets needed. The distance between the water dropper and the water will effect the shape of the water droplet and the way it hits the water. This is the manual way of catching a water droplet. To simplify it and to to make it automatic one could fill a plastic bag with water and make a very very small hole in it. This will give you a timed dropping and hopefully you made it small enough.

Black Acrylic Glass

You will need a black velvet background and glass. It will be important to keep the glass clean of fingertips, so wearing gloves or holding it by the edges will prevent that. It can be bought in different sizes, and can cover up certain things not wanted in the picture.

Light Painting
You will need a slow shutter speed to be able to capture the movement of the light that will be able to create an image. A high ISO will also be helpful because it will be night time and you will need to be able to capture the surroundings of the light. You can use a light source from a sparkler or a flashlight or glow light.

Bubbles/Planet

You will need a black background or a contrasting background to get the colors of the bubble to be vibrant. You will have to blow a bubble and time it properly and take the picture before the bubble pops. A high shutter speed and a big aperture will be necessary to capture the bubbles color.

Focus Stacking

You will need a camera with a large focus and a high shutter speed so you can hold the focus and make the picture sharp. A big aperture and ISO will also help to get the sharp image you would like to receive.
